We’re Here to Help You Every Step of the Way.
Your process begins when a traffic citation is issued by law enforcement or when a traffic-related case is filed. The court assigns your case to the correct jurisdiction (Area I, II, or III).
Court staff review your citation, assign a hearing date if necessary, and notify you by mail or in person.
You have the opportunity to review your citation, gather evidence, and seek legal advice before your court date.
If a hearing is required, you’ll present your side of the case before a judge. You may appear with or without legal counsel.
The court issues its decision, which may include fines, points, traffic school, or other conditions depending on the violation.
Once resolved, the court ensures compliance with the judgment, updates your driving record, and closes the case.
